Jars of Hope was created to share the beautiful handcrafted work of artisans while helping create meaningful opportunities through dignified work.

Many of the pieces featured through Jars of Hope are handcrafted by artisans at Haven of Hope Handicraft Centre, part of Christian Mission Charitable Trust (CMCT) in South India. Through their skill and creativity, artisans create beautiful pieces by hand while earning an income and supporting their families.

Every purchase becomes part of that larger story. Proceeds help support the work of CMCT, including opportunities for training, education and long-term support within the communities they serve.

Here, from time to time, we will share updates from the field, glimpses of the artisans at work, and some of the stories behind the pieces — stories of creativity, perseverance, faith and hope.

What began as a vision to create opportunity for artisans has opened its doors.
